Our Philosophy
As appraisers, we are truth tellers. We are the independent, non-biased voice for the client to get an accurate, honest appraisal of value. So many parties to a real estate transaction have goals which do not necessarily reflect an accurate value. For example, a list agent is charged with getting the highest possible sales price for his/her seller. A buyer agent's goal is to help the buyer to get the best (usually lowest) price for their buyer. An insurance company may want the highest possible replacement cost to increase premiums. However, the appraiser is the one who has no skin in the game. They are the independent, thorough researcher who wants simply to be honest with all parties involved. Once that honest appraisal is communicated, all parties can then act in their own best interests with the information provided.
